For existence my first hdtv, i am more than joful with my purchase. I was debating for months to get the ln40b630, but the expense didn’t come back below to below $800. Searching amazon, i saw that year’s model for less than continue year’s model, so i decided it was time to get one. I’m more than impressed through what that tv can do: already i have hooked my ps3 and dvd instrumentalist along to it. The visuals are absoulutley outstanding — i feel like i’m actually there. Reading reviews from continue year’s model, i saw negative comments about sound quality; that year’s model, in my opinion, exceeds expectations.
Amazon had that delivered to me in under a week with excessively saver shipping — i couldn’t ask for better. Out of the box the stand was relaxed to install: just skid the tv over the steerer stand, screw in, and you’re good to go. Setup along was easy; the only thing i have an issue with so far is that you can’t go directly to a different source/input unless the tv is picking along a signal from the device. Starting along other equipment and then having to first-class the input again is a bit annoying because you miss the start along unless you leave it upon that input. Not sure if i’ve calibrated it right though, in the manner of that point, Samsung LN40C630 seems clear and looks fantastic with some of the failure settings. The manual isn’t very informative in setting most of the options; still existence new to hdtv’s, i have to look along guides upon how to optimize it for different viewing situations.
I can’t say for sure if that tv is better than all the rest or how it matches up, but side to side in the manner of electronic stores it had the best picture in mine and my spouse’s opinions. The allshare feature is also a nice addition: i am able to stream files from my network devices upon to the tv with only having to run an ethernet cord to the router. In conclusion, i beleive that tv will be more then enough for in the manner of least the next 3 years until i consider an upgrade, and i mean a bigger upgrade
