Have received the young Asus 1001p-p for virtually a week. Loaded a 2 GB remembering chip in it, updated the Bios, and everything is working great. Battery isn’t quite up to full potential simply I have exclusively fully charged it once. I’d ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1001P-PU17-WT recommend this to anyone interesting in a netbook. The hard drive is partitioned into four regions (two hidden). The system recovery is put on one of the hidden partitions for easy recovery if needed. I would definitely have the 250GB hard drive because of the partitioning.
